Max Valentine

June 01, 2020

Max Valentine sees himself as "an R&B singer who can take it to the streets and rap" (his previous work is rap heavy) which is not only a reflection of his versatility but also his undeniable talents.

This is a direct result of having spent his childhood years singing as a part of a church Choir that his step-father was in charge of. When he wasn't in church singing, Max was spending time with his biological father, an internationally renowned House DJ, and that afforded him the opportunity to explore other musical genres outside of gospel which consequently led to Max Valentine falling in love with UK Garage, Grime, Hip Hop and the art of rapping.

Max Valentine says this of his songwriting and his music;

“I love to paint pictures with my words, singing and rapping are the brushes I choose to use to paint the picture. I want the listener to not only hear but to also feel all the emotions that are true to me”.

This approach to music making has given Max Valentine the tools to be able to create honest, and insightful music or his fans listening pleasure.

Max has received co-signs from world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua and has also opened for Afro Beat sensation, Davido, at the 20,000 capacity O2 London Arena.

There's more R&B vibes to come, Max Valentine is just getting started.
